Christmas Wonderland 2022 At GBTB Has New Light Displays, Snowland, Games Village, Festive Bites & More
What screams Christmas more than a park filled with glistening lights, (artificial) snow, carnival games, and festive bites and tipples? Get ready, Yuletide lovers, Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay - the annual festive bonanza of the year - is back, and tickets have just gone on sale.

Held from 2 December 2022 until 1 January 2023, this Christmas affair has pulled out all the stops with new magical light displays, carnival games, a snow land with polar bears and more spread across six different zones. Read on for what you can expect in each area!
#1 St Nick’s Square

St Nick’s Square is the heart of Christmas Wonderland, so expect to find plenty of attractions here, such as a meet-and-greet spot with Santa Claus, the iconic Venetian Double-Storey Carousel, and a festive-inspired Garden Rhapsody light and sound show.

The crown jewel of this zone, though, is the stunning 21-metre Spalliera, handcrafted by Italian artisans and made of 103,000 light bulbs.

#2 Gingerbread Grove

Gingerbread Grove is home to a 10-metre tall Whimsical Windmill set in a field of 250 candy canes lit by more than 35,000 bulbs.

The highly-popular Walk of Lights tunnel, which comprises 50,000 programmable LED lights illuminating a myriad of colours, is also located here!

#3 Merry Lane

Head over to Merry Lane for Snowland to experience a white Christmas in the tropics.

We’re talking about an illuminated igloo, polar bears and fluffy white ‘snow’, as well as heaps of new light displays in different designs, like a Gingerbread House and Poinsettia Castle, that are Instagram-worthy.

#4 ELFresco

No festival is complete without tasty treats, so pop over to ELFresco to feast on an array of festive grub dished out by crowd-favourite brands such as Brewerkz, Burger & Lobster, Hendrick’s, Pita Tree, and Sofnade.

#5 Mistletoe Alley

Adorned with spell-binding lights and enchanting decorations, Mistletoe Alley is the place to go for Christmas shopping as it spotlights an entire row of festive huts selling crafts and gifts.

#6 Games Village

As its name suggests, Games Village is where you can find eight traditional carnival games and rides, including Fishy Fishy, Ring Toss, Pyramid Smash, Bowling and High-Striker.

Tickets to Christmas Wonderland start from $8 and can be purchased here. Do note that there won’t be any ticketing booths on-site, so you’ll need to buy them online before heading down.
