Since the easing of pandemic restrictions earlier in the year, Singaporeans have been spoiled silly with so many fun activities in the city, and this year-end is no exception. Besides the return of the Marina Bay Countdown, a whole host of other exhilarating events, namely The Great Bay Fiesta, will be happening in December, so you can be certain that the lead-up to Christmas and the New Year will be just like the good ol’ times!

Slated to run from 1 December 2022 to 1 January 2023, The Great Bay Fiesta will take over the entire Bayfront Event Space with a wide variety of merrymaking festivities in four main categories - a circus with brand new acts, a carnival with nostalgic games and rides, a food festival and a winter playground.

The Great Cirque de Cascades will have you at the edge of your seats with its lineup of death-defying, jaw-dropping stunts titled Around The World in 80 Minutes, performed by Gandey’s Circus

Once seated in the Big Top, you’ll get up close and personal with crossbow slingers, gravity-defying motorbikes, acrobatics and more who will take you on a breathtaking journey as you witness them act out dangerous moves. Think firing a crossbow at their partner while narrowly missing their heads, performing a high-wire show without safety nets or lunges, and propelling themselves high into the air using a springboard as a “human rocket launcher”.

As you step inside this enclosed tent, you will find two areas aptly named Snow and Ice. The former lets you experience fun winter activities such as building a snowman, making snow angels, and sliding down the longest and tallest snow slope ever constructed in Singapore.
