Zentosa Fest @ Sentosa: 500-Hectare Wellness Retreat Ft. Fitness Classes, Sound Baths, Cacao Ceremonies & Glamping Tents
It was a busy work day but I’d instead found myself lying below swaying palm trees, lulled into a state of bliss by the healing sounds of Tibetan singing bowls and the lively chirping of birds. Earlier on, we enjoyed a breathwork class by homegrown alternative healing company The Senses Therapy. With my mind calm and breath steady, I felt ready for anything.

The Festival Village at Palawan Green will host masterclasses, sports workshops, and outdoor performances from June 3 to 19. Highlights include the Make Every Move Count workshop, where participants can have their mobility and movement assessed by accredited coaches to reduce likelihood of injury; the daily True Fitness Hour featuring a rotation of group classes like Yoga Flow and Zumba; as well as the National Steps Challenge, where festivalgoers can earn sure-win rewards and stand to win lucky draw prizes just by staying active.
Meanwhile, express your creativity by painting a large-scale mural, making paper puppets, and designing communal art boards. Bring your family to the annual Dad’s Day Out
As part of Zentosa Fest, the annual Dad’s Day Out will be held on June 18 and 19, where festivalgoers can participate in a family challenge that incorporates various elements of a healthy and resilient lifestyle. Plus, they can pledge their commitment to family and personal wellness by symbolically tying a ribbon to the suspension bridge that leads to the “Stress Stop” at the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia.

Relax at the Stress Stop
The Stress Stop, as its name suggests, is a relaxing beachfront area offering workshops to help one keep stress at bay. Guests can reconnect with themselves spiritually and emotionally through meditation, breathwork, and soundbaths. They’ll also be able to participate in a cacao ceremony that’s rooted in the holistic healing practices of ancient Aztecs and Mayans.
