Has severe RBF but is fairly jolly and carefree on the inside. Degree of life satisfaction is heavily influenced by food.

You might recall our article on the uber ulu, far-flung restaurant, 中河小镇网红餐厅 (Zhonghe Town Internet-Famous Restaurant), that has a romantic hot pot tent dining experience.

The news went pretty viral *pats myself on the back*, but there were many comments on how inaccessible the location was and difficult it was to book a tent. If you're still keen on trying out the experience, there's now a second and more convenient location.

中河小镇网红餐厅 recently opened their second outlet with the same tent hot pot concept. It's still in the West at Jurong, but is significantly easier to get to. Nestled in a quiet residential area at Teban Gardens, the restaurant is a 15-minute bus ride from Jurong East MRT Station.

It has the same homey tents lined up on top of faux grass and covered with fairy lights.

New decor elements include leafy twines with flowers and Kaws plush toys scattered across the space.

The food is fairly similar to that of their first outlet - heart-shaped pots, dipping sauces and a variety of standard hot pot ingredients.

The restaurant opens late till 12am, though diners are required to call in advance for seatings after 10.30pm.

Address: 39 Teban Gardens Road, #01-333, Singapore 600039
Opening hours: 2pm - 12am
Reservations: 8298 9099
