PAZZION Cafe Review: Shoe Store In Singapore Is Also A Stylish Place For Brunch, Mains & Desserts After Shopping
Any shoe-aholic will be familiar with PAZZION, a Singapore-based brand we can go to for affordable and quality shoes as well as bags that are always right on trend.
What you might not know is that they also have a cafe concept where you can sit back and relax over brunch, desserts or dinner after shopping. Relocated from Jewel Changi to Takashimaya, the PAZZION retail store and cafe boasts a luxe, minimalist look with the same menu.
PAZZION Store
In a soothing colour palette of soft greys, light brown and black, the new PAZZION outlet at Takashimaya has its retail section and cafe right by each other without barriers.
This open concept design is fitting considering how visitors are commonly made of active shoppers and their less enthusiastic followers. The latter group will have a much more enjoyable time here relaxing at the cafe while giving opinions to those trying on shoes and bags.

Standing front and centre of the store are the latest pieces from PAZZION. The current display features the nature-inspired Spring/Summer 2022 Collection with casual shoes like mules and sandals in earthy colours as well as fun beaded bags.

PAZZION has also added a new thoughtful touch to the shopping experience, a binary concierge service. As it can be a drag to lug around your newly bought shoes, you can opt to shop for the shoes online while in store and have them sent to your doorstep in 2 or 3 days.
Simply scan the QR code attached to the product and you'll be able to check the stock availability, more information and purchase it for home delivery.

PAZZION Cafe
Shopping can be a tiring affair. If your legs are feeling sore and you need a refresher, a literal few steps away is the stylish PAZZION cafe. Apparently, its founders are passionate foodies, and so they've decided to set up their own cafe adjacent to the store.
Ambience at PAZZION Cafe Takashimaya
The cafe has a Muji-meets-industrial aesthetic with clean lines and curves, simple furniture and plenty of matte black cast iron touches giving the minimalist space an edgy touch.

Food at PAZZION Cafe Takashimaya
The cafe has kept the same menu consisting of Western-style mains such as burgers, sandwiches and pasta as well as sides, salads and desserts.
For brunch, I'd recommend the Big Fabulous Breakfast ($26). This hearty plate has generous portions of silky scrambled eggs (or in other styles of your choice), back bacon, sausage, tomatoes, baked beans with chorizo, portobello mushrooms and sourdough bread. Most full English breakfasts I've tried have one or two of items that fall short, but everything in PAZZION Cafe's fry-up was wholly satisfying.

If you'd like something value for money, go for one of the Rice Bowl Lunch sets ($12.90) with a choice of Gochujang Pork Spare Ribs, Grilled Chicken or Grilled Tofu. The set comes with a fried egg, a side of coleslaw, brown rice or kimchi rice, and a choice of iced or hot lemon tea.

Those craving a healthy option for a teatime pick-me-up can have one of their salads like the refreshing Kale Salad ($18) which comes with a mountain of kale on top of beetroot, topped with grapefruit and assorted nuts.

For a proper meal, you have a number of options for mains like the Pork Slider ($26), Asian Spice Chicken ($22), pastas, burgers and sandwiches.
I went for the Braised Beef Cheek ($28) which passed the tenderness check - breaking it apart with just a fork - and came with a delicious gravy, creamy mashed potato and greens.

By the time the dessert arrived, it was clear that PAZZION takes its presentation seriously. The Sweet French Toast ($20) looked too good to eat with the perfectly arranged toppings. Contrary to its name, this toast wasn't all that sweet even with the chocolate sauce.
Other photo-worthy desserts on the menu include the Savoury French Toast ($20), Mixed Berries Waffle ($18) and Apple Crumble ($14).

The cafe also takes pride in their house-made bakes like the Canelé and Lemon Cake.

Although shoppers might first choose to dine in for convenience's sake, they'll probably revisit for the quality and presentation of the food.
