Although rainbow cheese toast has been quite popular for sometime in Thailand and Malaysia, the trend hasn't seemed to have caught on yet in Singapore. Well, that is until today.

Introducing Kuma Brand, just newly opened in Singapore this National Day.
This place specialises in Rainbow Cheese Toast (of course!) and has a kawaii looking bear as it's mascot. Despite it's Japanese sounding name, this toast has it's origins from...Kuala Lumpur Malaysia! The brand is already extremely popular in Malaysia and there ar tons of pictures on Instagram featuring this gooey-ooey colourful toast.

In the Westgate outlet, they also sell other types of toast like charcoal cheese or matcha cheese and cheese-filled fried chicken. OOOo.. we like already.

Apart from Malaysia, Kuma also has branches in Indonesia. The Japanese sounding name was inspired by Japan's Kumamoto Prefecture.

Kuma's uber pretty and stretchy Rainbow Cheese Toast ($6.90) gets these rainbow shades purely through natural dyes from plants such as the butterfly pea flower(blue), the pandan leaves (green) and sweet potatoes.
These days it's just not enough to have food tasting good, we need to have it looking super good as well!
