Badminton Champ Saina Nehwal Looked Brilliant In Blue On Her Reception & We Are Happy Crying!
India's most popular badminton player, Saina Nehwal tied a knot this weekend with a fellow badminton player Parupalli Kashyap & the duo is absolutely killing it with their simplicity. The two looked so stunning that it is just not possible for us to express our happiness. Amidst all the fancy & lavish weddings that took place, we really needed a break from the OTT, extra glamorous, and not less than a few crores wedding ceremonies and we are so thankful to the couple to introduce us to some new trends!
While everybody was waiting for DeepVeer pictures from Star Screen Awards to bombard their Instagram feeds, we encountered a beautiful & timeless picture of Saina who looked absolutely breathtaking on her special day. While Saina shared her reception pictures on social media, the rocker chick and hubby looked all regal from head-to-toe in the blue traditional wear by none other than, the master of wedding outfits, Sabyasachi.
The champion wore an indigo velvet lehenga from his collection that had applique work, pearls, crystals, zardosi embroidery and all of this simply spoke out royalty to us. Now, that's exactly what we are talking about. Saina has set some major goals on how to slay in both the court and with her fashion looks at events.
The accessories were exactly what dreams are made of for a nayi naveli dulhan, like the uncut diamonds, emeralds and Burmese rubies looked so gorgeous on her. The jewellery was also a part of Sabyasachi's uber-luxe heritage collection.
Parupalli, on the other hand, was colour-coordinated with his all-rounder wife and we are absolutely adoring the two at this point. *cuties* His indigo sherwani was hand-dyed Murshidabad silk that featured handcrafted Bengal tiger buttons. For the final touch, he had a plain & beautiful tussar georgette shawl with a burnt gold tilla over him. He accessorised it with an elegant diamond necklace that made our jaw drops.
