It's Happening! Ali Fazal & Richa Chadha Will The First To Get Hitched This Shaadi Season
Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are one of the most iconic celeb jodis in the Bollywood industry and to follow them on the 'gram is a treat. We have sincerely been keeping an eye on this couple as the shaadi season is just around the corner. Rumours suggest an upcoming wedding and we are super-duper excited to see these two as dulha and dulhan. Speaking of which, we finally have an update on the wedding plans.
A source tells us that Richa and Ali's pre-wedding celebrations will begin at the Delhi Gymkhana club on September 30 with a lavish mehendi and sangeet function. The duo will then tie the knot in Mumbai on October 6 at a rented bungalow. We also hear that Ali and Richa are planning to throw a grand reception party for their B-town friends after getting hitched.
Initially, Richa and Ali had plans to get married in 2020. However, the two decided to postpone their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In an interview earlier, the Fukrey actress shared about her wedding plans and said, "Whenever we think of getting married, a new variant (coronavirus) comes. In 2020, we had booked places also but the first wave came, followed by lockdown and destruction. Last year again in February, we had confidence and the talks started. The second wave experience was the worst in India. Quite sad."
The actress added, "Jo log humse baad main mile the, unki toh shaadi bhi hogayi. Baad main dekhte hain kiski kitni tikti hai. Aisa kya hai, finish line pe milenge "(People who met after us have also got married. Let's see whose marriage lasts longer. What's the big deal, we will meet at the finish line).
