The actress is currently in news for her maternity fashion looks and is questioned constantly about her pregnancy during press conferences. While interacting with the media during the event, the actress was questioned on how she was managing the 'stress of promotions' while being pregnant with her first child. And like every other woman who is tired of answering these nonsensical questions, she replied, "Agar aap fit ho, healthy ho, fine ho to koi rest lene ki zarurat hai hi nahi. Kaam karna mujhe sukoon deta hai, mera passion hai. (If you feel you are fit and healthy then you don't need to rest during pregnancy. My work gives me peace. It is my passion. "
The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress further added, " It keeps my heart, my soul everything alive and charged. Toh main to matlab 100 saal ki umar take kaam karungi (I will work till I am 100 years old). "
It was just last month when Alia had expressed her annoyance on Instagram stories about people who were assuming that she was going to stop shooting after announcing her pregnancy. She wrote," I do not need to REST at all but good to know you all have a doctor's certification as well."
