Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas Welcome Their First Baby Via Surrogate: 'We Are Overjoyed'
Global domination, Priyanka Chopra and musician, Nick Jonas gave us a major surprise on Friday night. The two are now parents to a newborn baby! PeeCee captioned her post on Instagram, "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."

While the couple hasn't shared the baby's name at this point, reports have confirmed that Priyanka and Nick's first child is a baby girl and the duo is super excited about their new journey. A source, close to the couple, also confirmed the publication that it is a baby girl for them, who hope to have at least two children in future.
Earlier, during an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, when asked about starting a family with Nick, Priyanka said, "Yes absolutely, whenever it's the right time, it is something that we definitely want."
In another interview, Priyanka had said about starting a family with Nick. Priyanka was asked whether her mother, Madhu Chopra hopes to become a grandmother someday. "They are a big part of our desire for the future. By God's grace, when it happens, it happens," she said.
But when the interviewer quoted that both she and Nick lead busy lives, she cheekily replied, "No, we are not too busy to practice." She also added that whenever they welcome a child, she has no issue with slowing down with her career commitments. I'm okay with that. We're both okay with that."
The lovebirds received greetings from their friends and family. The fans are overjoyed with the happy news. "Oh my goodness Nick I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am for you guys congratulations can't wait to see the baby grow up," read one comment on Nick's post. Nick's brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas dropped heart emojis on both PC and Nick's Instagram post.
