Yes, you read it right! The wait is finally over because the newest bride of the tinsel town has finally shared the first glimpse of her wedding day. We are sure that you've guessed by now that we are talking about none other than Rhea Kapoor. The producer and Sonam's younger sister has tied the knot with long-time boyfriend, Karan Boolani on August 14 in a private ceremony.
While we did get a glimpse of the glam pre-wedding festivities of the duo on social media, we simply couldn't wait to see the pictures of the stunning dulha & dulhan. And we must agree that it was worth the wait. The couple in the pictures look heavenly and we cannot take our eyes off them! Take a look:
The new bride looks breathtakingly beautiful! We're totally in love with her off-white lehenga and the pretty golden embroidery over it. While the light & delicate dupatta draped over her shoulders is giving a traditional touch, the handcrafted veil on the other hand is adding major ind0-western vibes to the outfit. And we gotta admit it is going perfectly well with her sleek hairdo. That's a fashion take we suggest all brides-to-be to keep in mind! The bride's outfit is by designer Anamika Khanna and looks extremely classy and comfortable and uff we can't take our eyes off her!
While she kept her bridal look for the D-day subtle, her statement jewellery is every bit gorgeous. Her Rani Haar along with the layered and beaded necklace is complementing her jhumkas and bold bangles perfectly. Rhea has kept her makeup minimal by opting for smokey eyes and a nude lip. The small red bindi is adding that nayi-naveli dulhan glow on her face.
Her hubby, on the other hand, looks handsome as ever in a gold sherwani by designer Kunal Rawal. The duo looks so happy in each other's presence that all we can say is *nazar na lagey*!
Rhea wrote a heartwarming caption and said that even dating Karan for more than a decade, she felt nervous on her wedding day. So adorable! "12 years later, I shouldn’t have been nervous or overwhelmed because you’re my best friend and the best guy ever. But I cried and shook and had stomach flips all the way through because I didn’t know how humbling the experience would be. I’ll always be that girl who had to come home to Juhu at 11 pm before my parents fell asleep. Only until now, I didn’t know how lucky I was to feel torn. I hope we make a family so close that we have many, many loves in our life."
