After Her Memoir, Priyanka Chopra Opens Indian Restaurant In NYC, Shares Pics From Puja With Hubby Nick
Our OG desi girl, Priyanka Chopra has aced game yet again and we couldn't have been more proud of the stunner. After being a successful actress, producer, entrepreneur and author, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is now a restaurateur.
Everything she has done since the roaring success of her show Quantico has made international headlines. And despite being a global figure, the actress remains as connected to her roots as ever. The actress is all set to spread Indian love in New York City. What's cooking, you wonder? It's some yummilicious Indian food in PeeCee's very own restaurant.
Priyanka took it to Instagram to make the big announcement. Through a heartwarming post, the actress shared all the deets about her own Indian restaurant in NYC called SONA. She captioned the post as, "I’m thrilled to present to you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with."
Priyanka has collaborated with talented chef Hari Nayak for the menu design and restaurant concept. The upscale dining space has been a dream in making for quite some time now. He would be heading the kitchen at SONA and has curated an innovative menu that promises to take one through the intense flavours in the diverse Indian cuisine. The restaurant is all set to open its doors to the customers by the end of this month.
With the announcement, Priyanka also shared pictures from the inauguration puja that she performed with Nick and her family to bless the place. "The second and third photos were taken in September 2019 when we performed a small intimate Puja (prayer ceremony) to bless the space that would soon become @sonanewyork Godspeed, wrote the actress".
And as we said, no matter where she is, she shall always be our *desi girl* at heart. Priyanka's new venture has received a lot of love on social media and we too wish her congratulations on the new beginnings.
