DMRC also took a dig at the remake stating that nothing can beat the original. The tweet read, "Nothing beats the original track, plus we have a bias as we feature in it."

The original song was made by AR Rahman and sung by Mohit Chauhan. It featured Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan.  Rahman was unhappy with the remake as he tweeted, "No short cuts, properly commissioned, sleepless nights, writes and re-writes. Over 200 musicians, 365 days of creative brainstorming with the aim to produce music that can last generations. A team of a Director, a Composer and a Lyricist supported by actors, dance directors and a relentless film crew – Lots of love and prayers."

The recreated version is made by Tanishq Bagchi and crooned by Tulsi Kumar and Sachet Tandon.
