Eyelash glue residue and mascara clumps can make your falsies gunky, dirty and basically eww. Plus, it is not at all healthy to use dirty falsies as they can be a breeding place for bacteria which could harm your eyes.

However, you can always reuse them by cleaning them properly. Washing them will help in getting rid of the glue and the lumpy mascara residue from the eyelashes making them look all new again & also extend their longevity.

Here are two quick falsie cleaning hacks that we are sure you didn't know about. Try these and say goodbye to wearing dirty eyelashes, altogether!

#01  Dip the falsies in a cleaning mixture

Pour some micellar water in a bowl and soak your eyelashes in it for around 15 minutes. The glue, dirt, and product build-up will loosen up in the mix. Now, take a Q tip and remove the dirt. Take the falsies out, dab them on a paper towel and let them dry. Here, you have good as new falsies again!

#02 Use tweezers to remove the adhesive

Grab a pair of tweezers and clamp the open ends of the lash band where the glue has settled. Remove the glue by gently peeling it off with the help of tweezers. Once you get the chunks of adhesive off, take a clean mascara wand & run it over the band to get rid of any leftover residue.
