Isha Ambani Looks Majestic In A Vintage Sabyasachi Lehenga
I am crazy about ethnic wear, especially Indian wedding outfits! Dressing up in pretty suits, heavy lehengas, sarees and shararas are my favourite thing about shaadis, even more than food. As soon as a wedding invitation comes in, I start deciding on what to wear. And I always have a wedding look planned in my head for summers and winters both.
Celebrity wedding looks are a major inspiration because let's get real, you can never get enough of them. And our recent favourite is the millennial heiress, Isha Ambani Piramal, who has always left us amazed with her classic choices in Indian wear and we believe she has got this skill from her mother, Nita Ambani.
Isha recently bedazzled everyone with a memorable look and an excellent outfit choice. She looks nothing less than a royal princess as she donned a stunning ensemble by none other than couture maestro, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The outfit was pure magic to our eyes and hues made it stand out even more.
Her outfit, styled by celebrity stylist Ami Patel, was a gorgeous mint lehenga paired with a salmon-pink blouse and a pistachio coloured dupatta with chikankari work. The most eye-catching detail of her outfit was the dope and unconventional Peter Pan collar of the blouse that saw zardozi work and embroided golden blooms. Her blouse is goals and one can not fall in love with this design. With this look, she has made us reminisce the retro blouse design we saw in our grandparents' old pictures. Her voluminous lehenga was filled with floral applique work, heavy embroidery and the minute gold detailing on it made it even more special and desirable.
Taking a closer look at her, Isha's outfit was complemented perfectly with heritage jewellery pieces by Sabyasachi himself. She flaunted a statement choker decorated with emeralds and gleaming diamonds. She paired this piece of jewellery with a classic maangtika, matching earrings, a cocktail ring and traditional gold kadas. For her makeup, she decided to keep it minimal and let her hair down with a middle parting.
