Tara shared the screen space with Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday in Karan Johar's Student Of The Year 2. The movie was the sequel to Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra's film. It couldn't do wonders at the box office.

The actress will next be seen in Marjaavaan alongside Sidharth and Riteish Deshmukh. Before shooting the film, Tara learned sign language for a few months so that she could do justice to her character. While talking about it, she said, "Nowadays, it has become extremely important for actors to completely understand and delve into the characters they’re playing. So, I’m lucky that I could spend those many months learning sign language with Sangeeta ma’am."

The project is helmed by Milap Zaveri and is all set to hit the screens on November 22.
