The Sanjivani 2 Teaser Is Finally Here And It Is Making Us Feel Nostalgic!
Our fav set of doctors from childhood are all set to return on the television screen again! Sanjivani, the popular medical drama which ran on the Indian television back in 2002-2005, will soon make a comeback with a second season. The show narrates the stories of four medical interns as they strive to save the lives of people while struggling to balance their own personal and professional lives.
Recently, Star Plus just dropped a promo video of Sajivani 2 and the fans couldn't keep calm. Here, take a look at the teaser of the new season:
Except for Sanjivani's most memorable tune playing in the background, fans were ecstatic to see Mohnish Bahl and Gurdeep Punj return as Dr Shashank and Dr Juhi in the teaser.

Not just the fans, but actor Karan Singh Grover, who played Dr Armaan Malik on the show's spin-off, Dill Mill Gayye, left a funny comment on the Instagram post. He wrote, "Yo! As long as you'll know that's my hospital I'm good." Currently, Karan is busy playing the role of Mr Bajaj in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay. This is his return on the small screen after a break of long five years. And according to the sources, Armaan and Riddhima (the most loveable on-screen couple from Dill Mill Gayye) might also make a comeback on the show, but with a new twist.

Super excited for the new season!
The teaser has also introduced the two new doctors on the show, played by Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna, who are allegedly said to be each other's love interest on the show. The team of doctors will also include Rohit Roy and Sayantani Ghosh.

Siddharth P Malhotra, the producer of the show, revealed in an interview earlier whil4e introducing Sanjivani 2 to the viewers, " In a time of snakes killing people to exact revenge, this show will bring tears to the viewer's eyes and a smile on their faces. Gurdeep and Mohnish will be reprising their parts, while Rohit Roy and Sayantani Ghosh are new joinees who will be seen in important characters. I auditioned 70-80 girls before Surbhi was finalised. Unlike the earlier show, this time the leads play resident doctors and not interns. It won't be a frivolous show. Sanjivani was my first show, so it's important I don't let myself and the channel down. The set will be different, the writing will be different."
We hope the second season of Sanjivani is ready to return with a pinch of freshness while keeping the originality of the characters intact. This is surely going to be interesting! We are super hyped about its return!
