Karan Singh Grover Is Getting A Whopping 75 Lakhs To Play Mr Bajaj On Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2
Television heartthrob Karan Singh Grover, who we remember as Dr Armaan Malik until now, from Dill Mill Gayye, is all set to make a comeback on TV with another iconic role. After a long six-year break from the small screen, Karan has returned as Mr Rishabh Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. He made his grand entry in yesterday's hour-long Maha-episode. His fans have been eagerly waiting for his entry on the show ever since the first promo of Mr Bajaj was released.
A week ago, the actor shared his first look on Instagram in his 'salt & pepper' avatar as Mr Bajaj. He wrote," My only two companions...Chaos and Victory. It’s time to attain another...we shall see."

After a week-long build up around his entry with zoomed in shots of his shoes, chiselled back and grey hair, the fans got to see and listen to Mr Bajaj aka Karan Singh Grover in Monday’s episode of Kasauti Zindagii Kay reboot.
With the stereotypical Ekta Kapoor style entry, our expectations were high for Karan to step into the role of portraying a ruthless businessman who is ready to conquer the world. And finally, we can say he has convinced the viewers that he has the capabilities to live up their expectations.
The 37-year-old actor took a break from the TV industry after his last soap opera, Qubool Hai, to make his Bollywood debut along with his now wife, Bipasha Basu in the movie Alone(2015). it was during the shooting if this movie, the two fell in love and tied the knot in April 2016.
As per the reports by TellyChakkar, the actor is being paid Rs. 75 lakhs per month for the show. That makes Karan's per day fee around Rs. 3 lakhs and we are dying! It is reported that the actor has demanded to work only for 12 hours a day and 25 days a month.
Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor was quite interested in bringing Karan Singh Grover on board and hence agreed to all his demands. Currently, the latest promo shared by Star Plus' official Insta page, highlights Mr Bajaj's competitive nature and we are waiting for some drama!
And we have no idea why, but all his promos seem a bit funny.
Mr Bajaj will be entering the show, to take the Basu Industries down and create a rift between Anurag and Prerna, who just got engaged. Since we don't have Komolika on the show, for now, there is a villain in their love story.
