Suman Rao, a 20-year-old gorgeous lady is breaking the internet after she won Miss India 2019. Last year's winner Anukreethy Vas crowned her successor in the star-studded ceremony that took place at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai. Suman will now be representing India at Miss World 2019 in Thailand. But, who is this pretty woman? Here we have everything that you need to know about her.

Born on November 23, 1999, in Rajasthan, Suman lived the majority of her life in Mumbai. Currently, she is pursuing Chartered Accountancy course from New Delhi along with B.Com.

In her interview, she said, "When you get yourself determined towards a particular goal in life, every single nerve and fibre of your body starts working into that direction for a victorious journey."

In the beauty pageant, she talked about gender inequality and impressed everyone with her views. Suman said, "I come from a community where gender inequality and other stereotypes are still into existence, so when I saw two primary choices in front of me, to either accept the conditions those were in existence or to take the responsibility for changing the same, I chose the latter one."

She has become the 56th Miss India whereas Shivani Jadhav from Chhattisgarh won the title of Femina Miss Grand India 2019 and Shreya Shanker, who hails from Bihar, was crowned Miss India United Continents 2019.

The prestigious event was hosted by Karan Johar and Manish Paul. Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal and Mouni Roy gave some amazing dance performances.
