K-pop has gained immense popularity in these years with a large number of fans in India. For those who don't know K-pop is a popular music genre originated from South Korea. Lately, we have been in love with some romantic Netflix shows based in Seoul but it looks like music is not very behind in the competition. Korean Pop has truly evolved into a phenomenon that has swept the music world and this form is surely here to stay for long!
Recently we heard some happy news that would take all the Indian K-pop lovers by surprise. Think... think! Well, we now have two new members in the Z-Girls and Z-Boys group. Yes you guys, read it right! These two names are- Priyanka Mazumdar and Siddhant Arora.
This is the first time ever that any K-pop group will include Indians. We are usually used to seeing India excluded from Asian projects including tours, TV shows and other projects but not anymore! The New South Korean label Z-Pop Dream will be bringing our dreams to reality soon.
Priyanka who is 21, from Z-Girls is already a known name among the K-pop fans - she represented India in the K-Pop World Festival 2016, after bagging the first rank in the Chennai round and then the fourth place in the final competition held in Delhi.
Priyanka is a die-heart BTS and Chester Bennington fan who also went on to win the Excellent Vocal award at the finale held in Changwon, South Korea in the year 2016. The competition had participants from fifteen different countries like Japan, Mexico, Russia, USA etc.
Meanwhile, all we know about Z-Boys' Siddhant Arora (Sid) is that he is a YouTuber who covers Bollywood hits and has also performed at various live events.
The two have officially made their debut at the Z-Pop Dream Live in Seoul, a concert that was held on February 23 this year.
