It seems like Indian actresses were fully prepared to own the red carpet in Cannes and they did it with full force. Actress Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai just touched down the beautiful French Riviera and they stole our hearts from that very moment. While Sonam is yet to walk on the red carpet itself, Aishwarya managed to capture all the attention with her two scintillating looks from the red carpet.
Actress Sonam Kapoor who is in tie up with Ralph & Russo, L'Oreal and Choprad was busy with her press interviews, Chopard dinner and event. The actress opted for three different looks for attending these three events and it won't be lie to say that each and every single look managed to make our hearts beat fast.

For her Chopard Perfume event the actress donned gorgeous Scarlett Mason Valentino Gown which she coordinated with peachy makeup look and messy braid with decorated with flowers. The red colour of her gown was an homage to the rose fragrance of the brand known as Felicia Rose whereas her floral hair accessories were to compliment the perfume.

For her press event, Sonam wore a dreamy Persian blue or midnight blue Elie Saab gown which she complimented with her nude makeup look and sleek low ponytail.

Sonam decided to go for Indian inspired look for her Chopard Dinner and opted for a classic and royal looking Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla outfit that made her look no less any "Maharani", as dubbed by her little sister Rhea Kapoor. Sonam looked like a Queen and now it wasn't even the red carpet, now we cannot just wait to see how magical she is going to look on the red carpet!!
When it comes to Cannes Film Festival, we can proudly say that Aishwarya has been owning it for years. The actress made her debut on the red carpet of Cannes in year 2002 and since then she has managed to master the art of walking down the prestigious red carpet. With her dreamy beauty and unbeatable grace the actress manages to gets all eyes on her every year. This year was no different, Aish owned the carpet not once but twice and we don't have enough words to share about how fabulous the actress looked.
Aishwarya opted for Jean Louis Sabji's gold metallic décolleté baring gown. The custom made dress had snake skin print on it and we can say it was breathtakingly beautiful. The actress was accompanied by her daughter Aradhya who wore a complimenting lemon yellow tulle dress. Aish opted for nude gold makeup look and sleek hair to compliment her gorgeous gown.
The actress went all out with her second look. Aish wore a glamorous white gown with feathers for her second look. The gown was custom made for her by famous Ashi Studio in London and Aishwarya managed to look like an angel from heaven in her white ensemble. She looked heavenly in her silver and black smokey eye makeup and was tagged as the best dressed instantly.
