The leads of the show Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel became a household name with their on-screen characters of Ishita and Raman and now after a six-year journey on television, we hear the show is finally going off-air.

For the people who will now take a deep breath and thank their lucky stars for letting Ekta Kapoor take this decision of putting an end to the show. We feel you! LOL! This is not an easy decision for her to make and we know that for quite some time now. Right?

However, here's other news, we hear that a season 2 is coming up soon replacing the first one. And guess what, the makers have also finalised one of the main leads to the spin-off.

While rumours of the show going offline have been doing rounds on the social media for a while now, the actress of the show Krishna Mukherjee, in an interview with Times Of India last month, confirmed the news. "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is going off air in the month of June. I don't know why the show is going off the air, as it has good TRP ratings. It becomes difficult to leave a show and move on as everyone is a family here. Will miss everyone for sure."
