Every year we eagerly wait for the Class XII Board results and this year has been no different in that way. This year's achievers and their results have made everyone proud and we couldn't have been happier for them. What makes us even more excited is the fact that the two students who have nailed it in every possible way are girls! The first position is a tie between two students, Karishma Arora and Hansika Shukhla. Both the girls have scored 499 out of 5oo to become the toppers of this year's board exams. Like you must be thinking, we are also wondering where did they go wrong to lose that one mark?!

Well, not just this, girls this year have performed better than boys this year, as the top five students are all female. The other three girls - Aishwarya from Raebareli, Gaurangi Chawala from Rishikesh and Bhavya from Jind are on the second position with a score of 498 out of 500.

Hansika Shukla is an Arts student from DPS Ghaziabad who during an interview said that she regrets scoring 99 marks in English. She quoted," I never took any tuition but followed a disciplined routine on my own and cleared my concepts in the school itself." She added that she also followed a no social media policy and followed it strictly right before her board exams.

Another brilliant student, Karishma Arora is a student of S.D. Public School in Muzaffarnagar. She said her success in the exams is all because of her family, school principal and teachers. Another interesting fact, both the girls are from Uttar Pradesh!

The results are usually announced in the third week of May but CBSE announced the results in advance, within almost 28 days of the exams ending.

Congratulations to all the merit students.
