And recently the pictures of their beautiful and unique wedding card went viral on social media. The card is pastel green in colour with a simple floral design and the duo's initials printed on it.

But what's different about this card is that it has two gluten-free chocolate brownies for the guests inside it. Isn't that so fancy? That's what we call a modern take on a traditional box of mithai with the wedding invite.

As per the reports, Sharad and Ripci's wedding festivities will be a four-day affair at JW Marriott in Juhu, Mumbai. The pre-wedding celebrations will start on April 18, 2019 with Haldi, Mehndi and Sangeet and the couple will tie the knot on April 20 in an Anand Karaj ceremony.

During a conversation with a media website, Sharad told about how his relationship started with Ripci, "When I was introduced to Ripci, I had just come out of a relationship and was going through a difficult phase. Initially, we would just exchange occasional pleasantries on social media. It was only after Ganpati last year that we got talking on the phone, which was after my last relationship ended. What connected us probably was our fear of marriage. In fact, Ripci travelled the world for six years to avoid marriage, as the pressure on a girl at her age was mounting."

He spoke about not dating Ripci like all the girls he had dated before in his life, "For a change, I didn't date Ripci. Everything happened in an old-fashioned way for us, as we said a 'yes' without meeting each other much. In fact, she asked me recently why we didn't date before deciding to tie the knot. It just didn't happen."

Sharad dated actress Divyanka Tripathi in the past for seven long years and they were one of the most celebrated couples of the telly town. The two crossed paths on a talent show and the two then played the lead characters in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann in the year 2006.
