The television star who gained popularity as Ishita in the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has taken the internet by storm with her recent pictures. The actress has come a long way not only in her acting career but also in terms of fitness. The fans are immensely surprised to see the drastic weight change and we can totally see that she is embracing her transformation journey with pride.

Divyanka has always been a celebrated actress in the Indian television industry but her amazing weight loss has left her fans in joy and we couldn't agree more that she is a true inspiration for everyone. In an interview with Pinkvilla recently, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya revealed how she has been able to shed those extra pounds and what she would eat in a day to keep herself in shape.

Divyanka starts her day with a glass of green juice, water and tender coconut and for her breakfast, she prefers to stick with fresh fruits. If fruits are not available she'd go for pancakes without oil and eats her breakfast around 10-11 AM. She talks about the importance of controlling her diet as she cannot simply eat anything. She said, I have to really really control my diet, I don't have a great metabolic rate." The actress said that she prefers to stay away from carbs as it is difficult for her to digest them. Divyanka refrains from eating rice, sugar and if she gets a chance to eat rotis, she might as well call it a cheat day.

Taking about her meals for the rest of the day, with her busy shoot schedules, she has to get her "dabbas prepared". The actress is a pure-vegetarian so she prefers eating a healthy wrap with a stuffing of veggies and paneer. Her evening snacks include a cutlet/tikki prepared without any oil. She also likes to have some soup between her meals to keep herself going in her hectic schedule. And to munch between her shoot, Divyanka keeps a box of cheese and keeps taking small bites throughout the day. For her last meal, she likes to finish her dinner by 7:30 pm.

In a rapid-fire session, Divyanka was also asked about her favourite meal of the day, to which she replied, "My breakfast because I can eat the heaviest item during this meal." She was also asked as to what time is the best to work out? Divyanka said, "Whenever you can-ideally in the morning but with erratic working hours I work out anytime." When asked "How often it is ok to cheat?", she said "It's not ok to cheat. Never! But if you really want to, maybe once a week or two weeks."

Finally, revealing her exercise preference between cardio and weight training, Divyanka said, "Both". She later signed off, with a piece of advice for her fans stating," Try to control your carb intake, if you want to have carbs have them. but have them in the afternoon since that is the best time to have them. And don't have fruits in the night since they have sugar in them."
