With new editions of the anime and video game being released every so often, the Pokémon franchise will never get old. What was once thought of as a mere childhood fad has since followed us into our adulthoods, and it’s here to stay. Even if you’ve stopped following the series, Pikachu and friends probably still own a special place in your heart - and beauty junkies (and their inner children) will love these kawaii Pokémon lip balms in Singapore.

This Pokémon lip balm is by Creer Beaute, the cosmetic arm of famous Japanese toy manufacturer Bandai. They’re the same ones behind the Sailor Moon cosmetics that you may have seen at Don Don Donki.

Unlike conventional lip balms which come in sticks or tubes, these are encased in small spherical tubs - all cleverly designed to look like Pokéballs. Each Pokéball has a miniature Pokémon figurine perched on top of it, with every one corresponding to a different scent.

Simply twist the cap open and apply directly to the lips - there’s no need to use your fingers. It is said that these lip balms are light and non-greasy, and can also be used as a lipstick base.

We’re not too sure if these are available at Don Don Donki or other Japanese stores in Singapore like Tokyu Hands at present, but we do know for a fact that these can be bought online via local beauty retailer Beauty Bistro’s Shopee store. They’re currently going for $17.90 each (U.P. $25.90) and are available in the following versions:
- Pikachu (Jasmine)
- Eevee (Apple)
- Jigglypuff (Cherry)
- Mimikyu (Lavender)
- Galarian Ponyta (Mint)

They are also available on Beauty Bistro’s official website in slightly different variants, but for $39.90 each. Though some of the characters are repeated, take note that the scents differ across the two collections:
- Pikachu (Citrus)
- Eevee (Floral)
- Mew (Forest)
- Snorlax (Chamomile)
- Alcremie (Sweet Vanilla)

We’d just like to point out that it’s super apt that the Snorlax version comes in a chamomile scent, since the daisy-like flower is known to improve sleep quality!
