5-Room BTO With Pastel Pink, Grey, & Marble Accents Coupled With Light Wood Looks Like A Chic Cafe

Now that you’ve grown up, perhaps that thought isn’t as strong - but there’s no denying that the colour pink still gets many of us going “aww” all the time. Striking a good balance between contemporary and feminine is this 5-room HDB flat in Singapore, which uses pink not as a main background colour, but rather as an accent coupled with grey, marble textures, and light wood.

The kitchen and dining area are seamlessly integrated in one space, with the only separation being a sliding wooden panel. The furniture takes on a similar colour palette to the flat’s other fittings, giving the appearance of a chic cafe. Plush velvety seats in light grey with gold legs are set against a white marble dining table, while the refrigerator and oven are packed into a built-in floor-to-ceiling cupboard - making everything look neat and sleek.

A terrazzo kitchen counter paired with pink herringbone tiles for the backsplash create a quirky point of interest, while blending well with the rest of the decor. Simple framed wall art contributea to the overall classy, contemporary vibe.

The dining space is also connected to the living area, where the theme continues throughout. The only thing that deviates from the rest of the colour scheme is a forest green sofa, which brings a slight tropical feel when put next to the pink TV feature wall. This is further amplified with a leafy mural on part of the back wall.
