As one might expect, the limited edition Jill Stuart Birth Gem Lip Gloss comes in 12 different shades - each one corresponding to a different month of the year and its accompanying birthstone.

Jill Stuart is known for their stunning, royal-looking packaging with a Victorian flair, and they haven’t held back with this product either. The lip glosses are designed to look like magic wands, with the silver-coloured caps full of curlicues and “lace” details. At the very top sits the brand’s iconic cursive “J” logo.

Dangling from the cap is a number charm with Swarovski crystal according to your special month. With a ring clasp, the charm is detachable, so you can always hang it on your purse or mobile phone case if you prefer!

These birth gem glosses are more or less sheer, so you don’t have to worry about your pucker taking on a strange alien-like blue or green tinge. Use them alone for a natural hint of colour, or layer it on top of an opaque lipstick for added lustre.

The formula is said to be moisturising but lightweight and non-sticky, giving your pout a comfortable, juicy finish.
