Located in Design Orchard, the Museum of Ice Cream retail showcase offers a mini preview of the full experience for free!
From 30 April to 27 May, part of the first floor of Design Orchard will be transformed to a pink paradise from every Instagrammer's dream.
The showcase is very, very pink! There are two main photo spots, the main one being a lifeguard tower with a mini sandcastle inside. This is one of the installations that will be at the actual Museum of Ice Cream at Dempsey!
The other is at the rooftop that’s now dotted with pink palm trees. There will be 1-hour yoga sessions (10 classpass credits) hosted by ClassPass at this rooftop. Each session comes with a complimentary treat of either the pink guava and raspberry flavoured Brewlander beer or a scoop of Singapore-flavoured ice cream. You can make your class booking on the Classpass app or website.

Besides photo opportunities, there’s ice cream, beer and merchandise exclusively designed by local brands and MOIC.
Ice cream fanatics can indulge in The Ice Cream & Cookie Co's Singapore-inspired ice cream flavours like Lychee Bandung, Malty Boba, and Taro Milk Tea ($6/cup).
We tried the Malty Boba ice cream and it actually lived up to the cup's aesthetic, although it's a little pricey even for artisanal ice cream standards. It had a rich, creamy taste with perfectly chewy boba.
You can wash it down with an American Wheat beer ($7.90) by local craft brewer Brewlander using raspberry and pink guava.
Tinted in a pinkish hue, this beer has a subtle fruity sweetness. The beer can design has endearing Singapore icons like ice cream sandwiches and Merlion ice cream cone aka Mercone. You could very well give the can a good wash or peel off the sticker as a keepsake.
MOIC merchandise on sale includes plush toys, key rings and adorable tote bags with sprinkle designs that are limited to less than 1,000 pieces.
There's also a range of local brands' products such as Kydra Activewear sportswear($42 -$85), Artisan of Sense 100% pure soy wax candles ($33), Emery & Co. nail stickers ($14.90) and Sova mulberry silk pillowcases and sleep accessories ($49 - $179).
The MOIC retail showcase at Design Orchard is free for all guests and will be available from 30 April to 27 May 2021. Find out more about the actual Museum of Ice Cream in Singapore here.
