The refurbished vintage photo booth at The Projector is a fun way to take photos but we have just the suggestion if you are looking for an even more unique way to snap some black and white shots.

Fotomat Studios is a new self photo studio in Singapore where you can take black and white photos without a photographer.

All professional equipment will be provided, but no photographer will be on site. All you have to do is strike your best pose and use the shutter clicker to snap photos when you are ready!

Fotomat aims to create a comfortable ambience at its photo studio by removing the photographer so that even the most awkward people will feel at ease. This encourages bolder and more expressive poses.

Black and white photos are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also tend to evoke more emotions, so this is a great way to commemorate a special event or simply to capture the moments in everyday life!

Each 15-minute session costs $30 (2 pax and unlimited shots) and comes with two free printed photos. You can also choose to purchase all original files in soft copy as a keepsake at an additional $30.
