The Asian Civilisations Museum has a new exhibition with monochrome photo opportunities and if you can't get enough of that black-and-white aesthetic, there's a new vintage photo booth in town you need to visit soon.
Fotoautomat Singapore has just recently brought in a refurbished vintage photo booth so you can preserve memories with your loved ones in print forever.

The photo booth was built in 1991 and flown in all the way from the US to Singapore. It's also Singapore's only analogue dip and dunk chemical photo booth, according to Fotoautomat Singapore.
Operating on a mechanical camera system, the photo booth is equipped with a shutter release which projects light onto a piece of photo sensitive paper. It sounds complicated but it's actually super easy to use!

Photos taken go through a process called dip and dunk, where the film strip undergoes a series of chemical washes inside the machine. It's like waiting for your film photos to be developed, except that this will only take four minutes!

There's also a surprise factor because unlike other photo booths, you won't be able to preview the photos before they get printed. Simply sit back and wait for your developed film to appear at the collection slot.

It's also surprisingly affordable and will only set you back $4 for a film strip! Take note that the photo booth only accepts $1 coins.
You will get four poses so plan them before you step into the booth, or just embrace the beauty of candid shots and have fun with impromptu poses.
