When you think of Tanjong Pagar, these things probably spring to mind: Bars, Korean BBQ, or, if you’re a CBD worker, the daily grind.

That may be true, but you’ll probably find yourself heading there for another reason the next time round, and that would be none other than Kreams Krafthouse - a new Korean cafe in Singapore with gorgeous autumnal decor that specialises in coffee and scones.

While it's Summer all year round in Singapore, stepping into Kreams Krafthouse will instantly transport you to Autumn in Korea with its canopy of leaves in various shades of red, orange, yellow, and green draped all over the ceilings.

Of course, these leaves are artificial, but the decor is done up so well that it looks super convincing.

They roast their own coffee beans for their specialty brews, which includes Vanilla Latte, Hand Drip Coffee ($10), and Einspanner ($9), which is black coffee topped with whipped cream.

If you’re one of those who like keeping up with food trends, then you’re probably going straight for the Dalgona Latte ($8). Instead of creamy foam on top, this one comes with a crunchy twist in the form of a toffee biscuit layer.

Another unorthodox brew to try is their Dry Cappuccino ($7), with extra dense scoopable foam and a dusting of Valrhona cocoa.

They do have tea as well, for those who aren't fans of coffee.

Pair your drinks with their freshly baked scones ($4 to $4.50), which come in special flavours like Sweet Potato, Matcha, Dalgona, and Yuzu.

Kreams Krafthouse is chill and spacious, and the romantic nature theme is sure to calm you even while in the heart of the busy city.

Since our travel plans to the land of K-dramas have been put on hold, this is a great spot to quell your wanderlust - at least if you let your imagination run wild and convince yourself that you’re dining under the Autumn foliage at a Korean alfresco cafe.
