Most visitors love sitting at this sheltered rest area to snap photos with the sea in the background. We recommend dressing in different purple hues to match with all the different decorations on the island!
It's also a good spot for couples to shoot cute couple pictures!

40,000 lavender plants were planted on Banwol Island and the neighbouring Parkji Island so remember to head to the tranquil lavender field for a photoshoot when you are there.
If you are into hiking, you can try hiking up the 201 metres high Mount Eoggae, which offers an aerial view of the purple-coloured villages.

Banwol Island also has restaurants, cafes, homestays, phone booths and even residential homes that are all, you guessed it - painted purple! Even the sidewalks are in a violet hue. People who love purple are surely going to have a blast here.
You can rent bicycles at 5,000 KRW (~6 SGD) to cycle around the island and opt to stay in one of the hotels or homestays to spend more time on this gorgeous island.
