Has severe RBF but is fairly jolly and carefree on the inside. Degree of life satisfaction is heavily influenced by food.

Nothing beats the comfort of good ol' local comfort food! If you like the idea of a huge spread of all-you-can-eat feast local fare, treat yourself to the new buffet at Edge, Pan Pacific Singapore's buffet restaurant. Executive Chef Andy Oh and his Culinary Team has curated an amazing variety of familiar dishes, desserts and drinks that pay homage to Singapore's culinary heritage, along with international favourites and buffet-essentials like cheeses and fresh seafood.

Named 'Flavours of the Lion City: A Culinary Expedition Through Singapore', this limited-time buffet will be available from now till 9 August 2024.

The spread is so extensive, you might be wondering what to go for first after the oysters and lobsters. We say, start with the Singapore Chilli Crab with Mantou, super fresh crab with an addictive sauce, and the Sirloin Steak that's cooked on the spot at a live station.

If you're craving some hawker food, head to the live stations for Bak Chor Mee, Yong Tao Fu, and uber-fragrant Slipper Lobster Singapore Laksa or go for proteins like the juicy Roasted Duck.

Pace yourself because that's just a fraction of the dishes in the buffet. There's still another section with more scrumptious dishes like Braised Soya Duck with Yam Rice, Braised Kurobuta Pork Belly Bun, a whole Teochew Steamed Sustainability Local Farm Gold Pomfret, Satay and Beef Rendang, just to name a few!

After that, indulge in some deep-fried treats like Durian Ball and Cempadak.

Diners can also expect international cuisine like Beef Tomahawk, Pork Knuckle, Korean-style bulgogi, pizzas, charcuterie and cheeses.

There's even a nostalgic Old-School Drinks Stall serving up a variety of local drinks to complete the feasting. That includes a delicious Teh Tarik that's pulled on the spot, and the refreshing Iced Limau and Soya Cincao. In the mood for a tipple?  Try the Virgin Singapore Sling.

Scout out the dessert section before you start on the savouries, because the spread is just as impressive! Save stomach space for the Kopi O Cake, Pulut Hitam Soup, Ice Cheng Teng, Durian Pengat and all kinds of kuehs.

After that, make space for even more local desserts like Milo Dinosaur Panna Cotta and Lychee Bandung Compote Trifle. There's also a chocolate fountain with marshmallows and strawberries, macarons and ice creams you can enjoy on its own or as a traditional ice cream sandwich.
