5 Beauty Pop-Ups In July 2024: Wear A Yukata In An "Onsen", Get Free Bubble Tea & More

#1 iT Café by IT Cosmetics

This clinically proven makeup and skincare has a treat in store for beauty lovers - a pop-up themed cafe! The brand will be taking over The Coffee Code, the zen and stylish cafe along Neil road, for an exclusive-limited time cafe experience from now till 31 July.
It launches in line with the new CC+ Natural Matte SPF 40 ($77), a serum-infused CC cream that gives a natural, barely-there matte finish, and Confidence in a Gel Cream ($90), an ultra lightweight moisturiser that balances oily to combination skin.
This food-meets-beauty collaboration has birthed a special IT Cosmetics menu. The chocolatey, flower-shaped iT's Matte-Cha Waffle ($17.50) topped with matcha jelly cubes and ice cream tastes as good as it looks. Wash it down with the dreamy looking iT's Matte-Cha Latte ($8.50).
For any item purchased from this menu, diners will get one try at the Planko It game and win a beauty freebie including a full-size product! During the pop-up period, shoppers who purchase the CC+ Natural Matte SPF 40 or Confidence in a Gel Cream on Sephora.sg will receive a limited-edition IT Cosmetic carrier at The Coffee Code.

#2 SEKKISEI House Pop-Up

SEKKISEI has set up an underwater-themed pop-up at Plaza Singapura, and it had us at "bubble tea". The first 100 guests each day will receive a free cup of Playmade bubble tea with no strings attached!
Visitors might come for boba, but certainly will stay for SEKKISEI's skincare. The pop-up offers a complimentary skin consultation and limited-edition SEKKISEI SAVE the BLUE sets. The latter consists of two well-loved products - SEKKISEI Lotion ($113 for 500ml) and SEKKISEI MIYABI CYCLATOR B ($115 for 75ml) - in pretty packaging featuring coral motifs.
Of course, there will be activities too! Play a 'save the ocean' game, customise your own eco-bag, and snag a 4-piece sample kit by following @kosesg on Instagram and TikTok. #3 Diane Ryokan Night Time Tress Pop Up

Having holiday withdrawals, and in particular, for Japan? Head to NEX mall at Serangoon to transport yourself to a "ryokan" at Moist Diane's pop-up. From the shoji screen-like facade and futon installation to the onsen-like ball bit with prizes, the design of this space will give you a cute throwback moment to your last stay at a traditional Japanese inn.
Japanese vibes and photo ops aside, visitors can play an AR game, customise their own scented sachets and snag free samples after collecting stamps at all the activity stations. To complete the whole immersive experience and take your photos to the next level, there are gorgeous yukatas that you can don. These will be worn over your clothes, so show up in something lightweight like a tank top and shorts for the best looking fit!
This pop-up celebrates Diane's new Perfect Beauty Deep Night Moist series ($17.90 each). #4 Mykonos x Aurel Pop-Up

Contrary to its Greek-inspired name, Mykonos is a perfume brand that hails from Indonesia. Its whimsical scents have won over TikTokers as unlike traditional fragrances, Mykonos perfumes have a distinct theme one can whiff out instantly. They smell like anything from lipstick and baby powder to cookies and berry pancakes. If that's not enough to convince you, the prices will do the trick. Mykonos perfumes retail at less than $30 for generously sized 50ml bottles!
For the first time, Mykonos is teaming up with local perfume retailer Aurel to open a pop-up in Singapore along Orchard road. Shoppers can try out the fragrances and get their hands on two new Mykonos fragrances: Pink Drops (Strawberry Milk) and Cafe Drops (Tiramisu Milk). These perfumes come in cute milk carton-inspired packaging and promise to have a nostalgic and comforting scent.

Sigi Skin is back with another grocery store-themed pop-up! Set to open in late July, this year's edition will likely have the same photo ops, freebies and gifts with purchases. The star product this time is the new Youth Beam Anti-Ageing Serum.
