Solace Studios Opens A New MRT Train-Themed Self-Photo Studio At orchardgateway
We've all had main-character fantasies while commuting on the train, especially with a fire fit on and AirPods playing our own 'theme music'. Anything to make this mundane routine a little less boring! Now, you can capture this ordinary yet comfortingly familiar moment in a photo. Solace Studios has opened its latest outlet in orchardgateway and it's a MRT train-themed self-photo studio, a first in Singapore.
It's not just the photo backdrops that are train-themed, the entire interior of the studio has been meticulously designed to resemble a MRT station! At the entrance is a gantry, which leads you into the 'platform' with a map of the train lines, directions, and five photo booths. Two are regular photo booths and three are recreations of train cabins.

The details are down pat from the seats and grab handles to signs like the priority seat sticker.

One of them even has train doors that you can manually open and close. It's a fantastic in-built prop for creative poses like prying the doors open or simply standing by the doorway - things we typically can't do on a real train.

There is a wide variety of photo frames to choose from including train-themed ones, of course.

The Classic photo booths are priced at $10 for two photo strips or one multi-frame, while the Train Cabin photo booths are priced at $12 for two photo strips or one multi-frame. Additional strips or pieces go for $2 each.
Solace Station @ Orchard Gateway is located at #02-03, and is open from 10am to 11pm daily.
