Solace Studios: New Minimalist Self-Photo Studio In Town With $10 Prints, Free Styling Tools & Props
It hasn't gone unnoticed that Korea's self-photo studio trend took Singapore by storm. In fact, a quick Google search will reveal more than a handful of these K-inspired establishments currently in the city. And with new studios popping up around the country once every few months, like Solace Studios, this fad appears to be staying.

Situated in Singapore’s hippest neighbourhood, Haji Lane, Solace Studios is a new minimalist Korean-inspired self-photo studio that lets you create memories without breaking the bank, as all photo types cost just $10.

You can pick from three types, namely the 4 Cut Frame (2 strips), 1-Inch ID Photo (1 piece), and Multi Frame (1 piece), which lets you choose the number of cuts (1, 2, 4 or 6) in one photo print. They all come with free soft copies, too, so you wouldn’t have to scan your photo strips in an app to get the digital versions.

This cosy establishment is also pet-friendly, so you can bring your fur babies along and capture a ton of memories with them! There’s a wide variety of cute props to play around with as well, like quirky sunglasses and Sanrio and BT21 headbands.

What’s more, complimentary styling tools like hair dryers and straighteners are available at the studio, so you can easily touch up before getting your photos taken.

No reservation is needed, but do expect to wait longer than usual if there is a crowd, as Solace Studios only has one machine in-store currently. After its official opening in November, however, you can look forward to more machines being added.
