Celebrate Mother's Day With A Luxurious All-You-Can-Eat Feast At These New Buffets In 2024
Mums deserve to be celebrated every day, but there's that time of the year when we're reminded to make extra effort. We're talking about Mother's Day, of course! And there's nothing that says 'I appreciate you' like a buffet treat. For those who haven't made reservations for the occasion yet, we've made things easy for you with a list of newly launched and refreshed buffets.
Seoul Good Korean Buffet at Peppermint

Korean food lovers are in for a treat at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay's halal buffet restaurant, Peppermint. From 3 to 31 May 2024, its spread will get a K-cuisine takeover, featuring classic Korean dishes and refreshing banchan AKA side dishes.
We're salivating at the thought of the Korean Cheese Grilled Lobster, Fried Korean Spicy & Garlic Soy Crispy Chicken and Gogi-Gui (Korean-style BBQ premium meat). There will also be comforting stews, seafood dishes and street food staples like tteobokki.
Complete this 'trip to Korea' with traditional sweet Korean desserts including the trendy Yakgwa (Korean wheat honey pastry), and Yaksik (steamed glutinous rice), or create your own Ddalgi Bingsu (shaved ice with strawberries) at the DIY station.

In celebration of Mother's Day, Peppermint is offering a neck and shoulder massage on 11 and 12 May from 7 to 9pm, led by the team from the hotel's spa, St. Gregory.
The "Seoul Good!" buffet is available for lunch and dinner with prices at $72++ per adult and $36++ per child (6 to 12 years old) for lunch on weekdays, $82++ per adult and $41++ per child (6 to 12 years old) for lunch on weekends, $98++ per adult and $49++ per child (6 to 12 years old) for dinner on weekdays, and $112++ per adult and $56++ per child (6 to 12 years old) for dinner on weekends.

Mother's Day Grand Sunday Champagne Brunch at Estate

Hilton Singapore Orchard's all-day buffet restaurant is the place to celebrate your mum's special day if you have a luxurious and tranquil dining experience in mind.
On the big day itself, on 12 May, Estate will be offering its well-loved Grand Sunday Champagne Brunch with a refreshed selection, along with a special gift for mums and Mother's Day activities including a magician. The indulgent spread includes Oysters, Maine Lobster and Scallops from the Seafood Bar, Foie Gras and Wagyu Beef at the Kitchen, a stunning variety of over 32 types of European cheese and an all-new Raclette Cheese station. Another new addition is the Crispy Mochi Waffles live station - it's as good as it sounds. And, Estate's iconic Signature Black Truffle Roasted Duck now comes with a more traditional touch, with truffle hoisin sauce and charcoal rice.

Planning a Mother's Day dinner instead? Pamper your mum with Estate's new Cooked-To-Order Dinner Buffet. This elevated buffet concept includes new dishes, refreshed favourites and, most excitingly, a curated selection of 10 à la minute specialties from Estate's esteemed chefs. These exquisite dishes are prepared to order with premium ingredients like foie gras and tomahawk steak. Diners can drop labelled sticks at the stations and the dishes will be served directly to the table. Outstanding ones include the Signature Octopus, Steamed White Fish, Braised Pork Noodles and Slow-Roasted Tomahawk.
The Grand Sunday Champagne Brunch is priced at $188++ per adult on 12 May 2024, and $158 ++ per adult and $79++ per child on regular Sundays. The Cooked-To-Order Dinner Buffet is available from Sundays to Thursdays and is priced from $98++ per adult.

Mediterranean-Asian buffet at Chara Brasserie

Chara Brasserie is a new international buffet nestled in Mercure ION Singapore City Centre, the world's largest Mercure hotel that just opened its doors in April.
The restaurant has a unique concept where diners can always expect something new with four rotating menus. Each menu features dishes inspired by different regions in the Mediterranean and Asia. On Mondays and Tuesdays, diners will enjoy the flavours of the Mediterranean and Southeast Asia, with the hot stations firing up to cook seafood-focused specialties. Wednesday and Thursday patrons will be greeted with a fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine including tempura and maki prepared a la minute.
The buffets on Fridays and Saturdays are a meat-lover's paradise, with a whole baby lamb rotisserie, roast carving stations and more dishes influenced by the Mediterranean and Asia Pacific.

Finally, the Sunday crowd gets to savour the best of all worlds with an international Mediterranean buffet serving up all three menus from across the week.
The dessert line-up will also be continually refreshed. There's everything from fragrant kueh and light, flakey baklava to doriyaki and chewy waffles with gelato.
The Mediterranean-Asian buffets are priced from $58++ to $68++ per adult and $34++ to $40++ per child for lunch, and from $68++ to $78++ per adult and $40++ to $46++ per child for dinner. Just in time for Mother's Day, there will be an opening special of 25% off all buffets till 31 May. That works out to be just $43.50++ per diner for weekday lunches! All buffets contain no pork or lard, and the restaurant is awaiting halal certification.

Super Sunday Buffet Marathon at Lime

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering's serene and luxe Lime restaurant is introducing a non-stop buffet spread that's available all day long, with slots of three hour dining sessions to choose from. Each session has its own special, exclusive offering along with a spread of dishes.
During brunch, diners can look forward to gourmet delights such as Eggs Benedict, Steamed Pork Ribs and an Eggs Live Station. At lunch and dinner, the line-up has a mix of Asian and international dishes like Sous Vide Herb Crusted Roast Angus Beef, Mongolian Fried Barramundi and the delectable fan-favourite, Pickering Lobster Laksa. The feast also includes Chef Alvin Leong's lauded Peranakan creations like Signature Beef Rendang. It'll be wise to save plenty of space for dessert as the sweets spread is impressive, with selections from a Matcha Chocolate Fountain and Banana Bread Pudding to Ondeh Ondeh Cake and assorted kuehs.

Craving a mid-afternoon feast? Go for the Cheers O'Clock buffet from 3 to 5:30pm where diners can enjoy free-flowing alcoholic beverages. If you're dining outside of the Happy Hour time slot, you can still enjoy a boozy dining experience with the unlimited alcoholic beverage add-on ($50).
On the Mother's Day weekend from 10 to 12 May, diners will be treated to a spectacular buffet dinner. Ladies will have an extra sweet ending to the feast with a complimentary serving of Bird’s Nest with Snow Fungus dessert, while groups of four adults or more will get a bottle of red wine on the house.
