What to expect from season 2
House of the Dragon is based on George R.R. Martin's book Fire & Blood and tells the tale of the Targaryen family in the fictional world of Westeros. It happens nearly 200 years before Game of Thrones and approximately 100 years after the Targaryens brought together the Seven Kingdoms. Drawing from the book's storyline, get ready for more action, including dragon fights, run-ins with assassins, and the introduction of new characters. George R.R. Martin says the first two episodes are going to be "pretty dark".
