Japanese desserts have always been in the spotlight, but they're really having a moment right now. Between the recently opened Warabimochi Kamakura store, TikTok-viral jiggly cat pudding, and even a pink-themed Sakura Festival Buffet, we're definitely spoiled for choice!

To make choosing even harder, check out the new ISETAN Scotts & Supermarket Sweets Fair! From now till 7 March 2024, this event space will be packed with stalls offering popular and authentic Japanese snacks, including fresh fruit gelato, warabimochi, Tokyo Banana, taiyaki, and more.

Read on to see what you can find at this sweets fair.

Sure, you've tried gelato. But what about gelato made with fresh fruit, crafted without any milk? Here in Singapore for the first time, Coco Gelato highlights the natural sweetness of fruit — plus, they don't use any colouring or artificial flavouring!

There are over 15 unique flavours to choose from, with Strawberry, Jersey Milk and Rich Pistachio being the most popular. You can get a single scoop for $8.50, double scoops for $9.50, and triple scoops for $10.50.

If you're looking forward to savouring some plump, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth warabimochi, Bashodo has got you covered. These freshly made mochi come in takeaway boxes with 2 flavours inside ($21 for 400g). Pick from the traditional Kinako, Green Tea or Sesame flavours, or spice it up with Cocoa powder.
