One of the Korean labels dominating the streetwear scene is NERDY, a celebrity-favourite that churns out apparel, shoes, bags and accessories in on-trend designs and wide range of pretty colours. They've just opened their new flagship store in Seoul - something to add to your travel itinerary!
Located in tourist hotspot Hongdae, a short walk from Hongik Univ. Station, the 2-storey store is hard to miss with its all-purple facade and massive logo. Tempting shoppers, especially cat-loving ones, in are giant cat paw prints leading to the entrance.

Inside are two towering cat statues glaring adorably at shoppers. Named Nero and Diro, these giant cats make for some impressive content for TikTok and the 'gram.

The cat-themed photo ops continue further inside the store, including a whimsical Fantasy Room covered in clouds and fluffy cat figurines.

Even the fitting rooms have been thoughtfully designed to reflect NERDY's urbancore aesthetic.

Of course, the store does have products to shop for too. The range includes everything from streetwear essentials like cropped t-shirts and sweatpants, to Y2K-style pieces like pleated skirts.
In the signature NERDY style, these pieces come in basic colours like black and white as well as soft, feminine colours like pastel pink and lilac.

The store will also offer a range of bags and accessories to complete a streetwear ensemble.

Items are priced at averagely KRW35,000 to KRW109,000 (~SGD35.38 - 110.19) for apparel, KRW90,000 (~SGD90.96) for bags andKRW75,000 (~SGD79.86) for shoes.
Customers at the NERDY flagship store will get to enjoy a complimentary photo booth session with purchase.
