OMMA Korean Charcoal BBQ's New Four-Storey Outlet Has A Private Room With Karaoke & Darts
When OMMA Korean Charcoal BBQ first turned up their fires on our shores last year, diners were greeted by their unique concept of using all-natural wood charcoal — which makes their meat more flavoursome while reducing smoke. Now, Korean barbecue enthusiasts will be excited to meat OMMA's brand new outlet at Telok Ayer, which is celebrating its launch with some amazing limited-time offers!

Conveniently located within 5-minutes walking distance from Telok Ayer MRT, the restaurant is decorated in a traditional Korean style and has four storeys of dining and entertainment space. On the first floor, there are indoor and outdoor dining areas available, as well as a bar with alcoholic drinks.

Patrons seated on the second storey will be able to enjoy gorgeous traditional Korean art displayed on the walls whilst dining, and small groups up to four people can choose to reserve the cosy private room on this floor.

Here's where things get even more fun, because the third floor and fourth floors are one large private room complete with a dining area, karaoke system and even a hidden games room! Usage of the entertainment facilities are complimentary for diners, and the ambience here is just right for a medium-sized gathering among family and friends, as guests can all sit together at one long table.

We were most excited to try out the open-concept karaoke area and the large projection screen did not disappoint. The karaoke system has a decent selection of songs to choose from, leaning towards current pop and kpop hits. There are four microphones to go around, so you and your company can belt those all-time favourite tunes altogether!

The games room, located on the very top floor, is a small lounge space connected to the private room downstairs. There's a darts machine where you can have plenty of fun with your crew and a comfy sofa to relax on.

In terms of menu items, diners can expect popular woodfire KBBQ choices at the Telok Ayer branch with star items like the Special Beef and Pork Set ($118), Iberico Pork Jowl ($33), and Beef Bulgogi ($35) gracing the menu.

There are also 6 special flavourings provided at every table for guests to add to their meat — our favourites were the Wakame Seaweed Sea Salt and Flake Sea Salt. Most patrons choose to add some in during the grilling process or to dip their freshly barbecued meat into a little of the seasoning before eating it.
