A MasterChef Asia finalist, Lennard Yeong has amassed almost a million followers on TikTok for his engaging food-focused content.

From 13 April to 31 July 2023, diners will get a taste of his adventurous cooking style when indulging in the four Yakiniku-GO x Lennard Yeong sets.

The Beef Bomb Set 150g ($22.80) and Pork Bomb Set 150g ($21.80) feature a whimsical presentation of meat slices arranged as 'bombs' enveloping marinated garlic. The former is served with goma tare and yuzu kosho ponzu dipping sauces while the latter is accompanied with goma tare and ponzu oroshi dipping sauces.

The highlight of the menu was the Double Dragon Pork Set 120g ($19.80). This hearty set had two thick slices of Duroc pork belly from the diamond cut of the pork, wrapped around zucchini, served with goma tare and ponzu oroshi dipping sauces.

The succulent pork had a wonderful fattiness that paired perfectly with the zesty ponzu sauce.

If you prefer beef, go for the Double Dragon Beef Set 120g ($20.80), which has the same thick cut meat with zucchini, but with diamond cut karubi beef instead. It comes with oma tare and yuzu kosho ponzu dipping sauces.

The pork sets are served with shio konbu rice while the beef sets come with an addictive maze gohan that we wished would be a permanent addition to the menu. A wholly underrated part of a BBQ meal enjoying the umami-packed rice that has soaked up oils from the beef and pork fat. Well, this maze gohan is an elevated version of that, prepared with a mix of secret ingredients including homemade wagyu tallow.

The Yakiniku-GO x Lennard Yeong menu will be available at all six Yakiniku-GO outlets: Suntec City, Parkway Parade, NEX, JEM, Jurong Point, The Seletar Mall.
