Specially created to celebrate Disney100, aka Disney’s 100th anniversary, the Leica Q2 Disney “100 Years of Wonder” camera will be progressively made available worldwide, including Singapore.

Fun fact: Disney’s animation studios have been using Leica’s cameras and projectors for their storyboards since way back. As such, this Leica Q2 Disney “100 Years of Wonder” camera collab is especially apt - both to celebrate Disney’s 100th birthday, as well as its longstanding partnership with the German camera brand.

This Disney-themed camera is based on the model of the Leica Q2 - a fixed-lens, full-frame camera with super sharp 47.3 megapixel resolution. Its black and white pencil-style design featuring Mickey Mouse is an ode to Disney’s cartoon sketching process - as is the unique smooth material layered on the camera body, which was inspired by drawing board tracing paper.

On top of that, you’ll find a subtle Mickey Mouse motif on the camera’s top plate, above the viewfinder.

This limited edition camera comes with a Disney print dust bag, a rope strap, and a certificate of authenticity.

The Leica Q2 Disney “100 Years of Wonder” camera will be available in Singapore after 27th April 2023, but here’s the catch: It’s a highly exclusive piece, such that only 500 sets are available worldwide. Prices are said to be €6,200, which is equivalent to slightly over $9000 in Singapore's currency.
