No, Disneyland isn't coming to Singapore, but the next best thing is - Disney Cruise Line!
All this time, the only way for us to voyage on one of these magical Disney-themed ships was to travel to the Americas, Europe and Australia. That's about to change as it will be coming to Southeast Asia for the first time and setting sail from our sunny island.
Organised in collaboration with Singapore Tourism Board, Disney Cruise Line will homeport a brand-new Disney cruise ship exclusively in Singapore for at least five years beginning in 2025.
The 208,000-gross-ton ship is estimated to carry 6,000 passengers and 2,300 crew members. It is also expected to be among the first in the cruise industry to be fuelled by green methanol, one of the lowest emission fuels available.
