The Wanderland Event In Singapore Has Jagua Tattoos, Tarot Readings, Aura-Chakra Scan & More
Shopping is always fun, whether it's at a shopping mall with big brands we know and love, or an artisanal shopping experience supporting small, local businesses and finding one-of-a-kind treasures. This weekend, it's time to set aside the former and go for the latter as The Wanderland Event is back!
This roving pop-up market serves as a stage for small and local businesses to showcase their curated crafts and design goods. Their latest edition will be held at NTUC Club @ SingPost Centre on 18 and 19 March.
Here's a peek at what you can expect there:
If you have an interest in zodiacs and horoscopes, you'll be intrigued by the tarot card readings by SAORSA TAROT.

Something just as fascinating and lesser known you can experience at the market is a Aura-Chakra Scan by Yuniverse Speaks (@yuniversespeaks). It's similar to tarot card readings in that your aura is being read. It's a combination of two parts where a machine reads biometric signals from the body, and YY reads your energies to determine the energy flows in the body. YY went into much greater detail than expected, breaking down areas including spirituality, intuition, emotional expressions and life energy. YY then gave advice on the areas I should focus on to create a more positive energy flow, leading to an overall happier life.

If you're not quite ready to commit to a real tattoo, perhaps a jagua tattoo is more up your alley. This temporary tattoo style uses ink derived from Jagua fruit, and creates a stain on the skin that looks very much like a real tattoo.
Jagua artist Tristy of @tea_and_gasoline will be at the pop-up to work her magic, creating jagua tattoos in variety of art styles. We requested for a sunflower and she expertly hand-drew a beautifully detailed jagua tattoo.

After a few minutes of drying and some touch ups, it was complete! The whole process took only about 15 minutes, and it ended with a run-down on how to care for the tattoo so it can last it's full lifespan of 1 to 2 weeks.

Activities aside, there will also be plenty of unique and handmade artisanal items and crafts to shop for including cat-themed knitted products, candles that look too pretty to burn, candles and cute accessories.
