Las Palmas Rooftop Bar is located within Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena, a luxe 4-star hotel that’s within easy reach of Orchard Road. True to its namesake - which is the capital of one of the Canary Islands off Africa - this fresh and cosy-looking bar will have you feeling like you’re on vacation in some far-flung paradisiacal resort.

Some of their bar stools are clad in leafy foliage patterns, while the others are made of natural elements like bamboo and wood. Green is a constant colour throughout the space, found in the teal ceiling lamps and terrazzo floors. These are complemented by pastel pink accents, which give the place a feminine slant. One of the highlights - and a prime photo spot - has to be the pink bar counter with a terrazzo base and marble countertop!

Head further out to the poolside area and you’ll be greeted in more pink and green furniture - like a refreshing pop of watermelon. This is probably the best spot to catch the sunset!

Here’s a catch, though: While members of the public are welcome to visit the bar, the cabanas and pool are only for guests staying at the hotel - unless you book Las Palmas’ Pool Cabana Package where you get 3 hours of usage with a minimum spend of $150. Each package can accommodate up to 4 people, so that’s a reasonable $37.50 per person if you split the cost four ways.

Happy Hour happens from 5pm to 7pm daily, with Draught Beer Archipelago or Tiger Beer at $10 nett (U.P. $15 and $14 respectively) and house pour red or white wine at $15 nett (U.P. $24). Else, pick from over 20 cocktail options at $25 each, or down some classic spirits or ciders.

The food menu offers a selection of tacos (from $15 for 3), baby back ribs ($18), an Angus beef burger ($28), Fiery Wings ($16), Churros ($13), and other flavoursome bites. Check out Las Palmas’ full food and drinks menu here.
