29Rooms: Ultra-Instagrammable Interactive Art Funhouse Is Coming To Singapore In 2023

From big-name concerts like BLACKPINK and Harry Styles to crowd-favourite events such as ARTBOX and Chatuchak Night Market, 2023 is looking set to be an action-packed and fun-filled year. If you thought that the list of things to do couldn’t get any better, you’d be eager to know that 29Rooms, an IG-worthy interactive art funhouse, is setting up camp in Singapore next year.

For the uninitiated, 29Rooms is a wildly popular experiential space created by Refinery29 and VICE Media Group that brings 29 artists to create a range of immersive installations that are not only culturally relevant and thought-provoking, but also incredibly ‘gram-worthy. It originated in Brooklyn, New York, before bringing its flare to major cities such as Los Angeles and Chicago.

Lucky for us, Singapore is its chosen stop for its first-ever global launch outside North America. This means we’ll be the first ones in Asia to experience first hand this funhouse’s 29 visually stunning rooms decked in colourful, whimsical displays that traverse art, culture, music and more.

The Singapore edition follows the theme of “Lost & Found” and will include the event’s first-ever XRoom, where you’ll get to see collabs between some of the trendiest icons - so you might even chance upon the latest international pop star or a restaurant that’s been making its rounds on your ‘gram here!

The 29Rooms Asia event in Singapore will be held at Gardens by the Bay from 10 February 2023 to 16 April 2023. Standard tickets start from $35 on weekdays and $48 on weekends and public holidays, and you can get them here.
