Dread the thought of travelling to the West for PastaGo's affordable pasta? Say no more, the pasta kiosk has opened a new branch in a more convenient, centralised location at Tiong Bahru Plaza.

The new outlet is twice the size and has more cooking stations to cater to a larger crowd. There's also a standing dining area perfect for customers who want a quick bite between appointments.

The outlet also offers customers a close-up view of their meals being prepared with an open kitchen. At the back of the store is where you'll enjoy the satisfying sight of fresh pasta churning out from the pasta machine.

The same menu remains, with affordable options starting from just $3.90 for a plain Aglio Olio. Their Carbonara (from $6.90) made the biggest impression during my visit at their JCube outlet, so I had to try it again. Lo and behold, it was just as light and delicious as I remembered.

For the uninitiated, PastaGo's carbonara is made the authentic Italian way - without cream, and just with cheese and egg. This gives the sauce a creamy, silky texture and rich flavour without any heaviness or fatty aftertaste.
Other dishes include Al Limone, Beef Bolognese and Mariana, with various pasta shapes to choose from including Mafalde and Pappardelle. Check out our review of PastaGo's other offerings here.
PastaGo is in the midst of applying for a Halal certification.
