K-pop stars Hyuna (Kim Hyun-ah) and Dawn (Kim Hyo-jong) first started dating in 2016 and were unceremoniously dropped by their entertainment company in 2018 when they revealed their relationship to the public.

Thankfully, both their careers (and their relationship) continued thriving and has led up to what looks like future marriage.

Earlier today on 3 Feb, Hyuna and Dawn announced their engagement on Instagram much to the delight of their fans and shippers.

Dawn posted a video, photo and Insta story of their matching engagement rings, popping the question: 'marry me?'.

Hyuna posted the same video with her reply, 'Of course yes', embellishing it with multiple crying emojis, and 'Thank you thank you and thank you always'.
